Discussion of Committee/Group Reports:

bulletPublicity & Community Events Committee- it was noted that there is some confusion at the local motels regarding our Sunday mass schedule.  Marge will put together a letter and hopefully clear up the confusion.
bulletCarole also noted how beautiful the altar was for the Christmas season and also stated that the appreciation party was one of the best ever.

Old Business:

Nothing on the agenda

 New Business:

  1. It was decided that from now on Parish Council will hold its meetings on the second Tuesday of every month.  As always, there will be no meeting in March, thus making the next meeting Tuesday  April 10 at 7 pm
  2. Ted Karmilovich will once again head the House of Charity at our parish’s level.  Our goal will remain the same as last year, $91, 000.  The parish has already received our portion of last year’s campaign, which was 10% of the $91,000 and 75% of everything over that.  On February 17 and 18, the Bishop will have his video shown at all of the masses.
  3. Parish improvements- as mentioned at the last meeting, efforts are currently being undertaken to:
    1. Repave the parking lot
    2. Redo the chapel
    3. Carpet the church
    4. Place awnings outside the parish center
